Adele recently wrote a cover story for the September issue of Elle magazine where she opened up about her personal and family life.
In it, she admitted she's madly in love with her boyfriend and would like to have more kids, but only after she makes sure her Las Vegas residency succeeds later this year.
The 15-time Grammy winner stated that she "absolutely" wants to marry again, but denied rumours that she is engaged or married to her one-year boyfriend, sports agent Rich Paul.
According to Elle Adele, 34, and Paul, 40, had been friends for years before becoming romantically involved in 2021. According to reports, the couple is renovating their home in preparation for a blended family.
Angelo, a 9-year-old boy that Adele and her ex-husband Simon Konecki share, is already a parent. The couple divorced in 2021 after divorcing in 2019.
The day before the shows were scheduled to debut, on January 20, Adele announced she would be cancelling and rescheduling the shows in a tearful video. She claimed that she contemplated abandoning a plan that didn't feel right to her.
There was simply no soul in it, Adele remarked to Elle. "The setup of the stage was inadequate. It felt very remote from my band and I and lacked intimacy. And perhaps I went too far by providing those things in such a controlled environment."
The first few months after the cancellation were "really, really hard," according to Adele. "I felt ashamed. But because it was such a brave thing to do, it actually helped me feel more confident in myself.
I doubt many people would have done what I did," she added. "I'm very proud of myself for putting my artistic needs first."
