Mr. Jewett's name was reportedly taken off of a list of very wealthy people who had promised to give away half of their money before they died.
Jeff Bezos's first wife was Ms. Scott, who is now his ex-wife.

The New York Times said that Ms. Scott filed for divorce in Washington State's King County Superior Court on Monday.

Mr. Jewett said he would join Ms. Scott's pledge when they got married, but now it seems that his name has been taken off her pledge.
